Job Description

  • To conduct market intelligence and research, and Partake in the formulation of the company’s sales strategy & plans, and actively participate in its implementation through identifying prospects / opportunities and converting them into active customers, and / or developing business with existing customers, consistently achieving sales targets including, but not limited to, sales volume, margins, and collections.
  • Produce new revenue by researching and analyzing potential prospects and sales activity of our freight forwarding division.
  • Develop relationships with customers and recommend solutions. New leads may be generated through canvassing, cold calling, partner relationships, and customer referrals.
  • Meet sales revenue targets.
  • Maintain pipeline and opportunities in CRM (As agreed)
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sales activities and plans.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with current clients and their management teams by providing information, guidance, and support;
  • recommending service and profit improvements; and recommending new opportunities.

  • Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.
  • Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Accountabilities :

  • Achievement of assigned sales targets.
  • Response time towards customer queries.
  • Conversion rate for quotations to orders.
  • Timely completion of the assigned task(s) and productivity targets.
  • Accuracy and comprehensiveness of the ERP data inputs within the assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Accuracy of all prepared reports in the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Effective closure of Non Conformances and complaints.
  • Maintain cash flow by ensuring due amounts are cleared by customers on a timely manner as per agreement
