The Purpose :
Assist the Senior Director, Communication in the creation and execution of external communications and advertising campaigns designed to achieve corporate strategic objectives.
Enhance competitive market performance within agreed deadlines, standards and budgets.
Key Activities :
Develop and give communication briefs to agencies and / or vendors for the creation of advertising and media campaigns, with the approval of the Senior Director, Communications.
Manage agencies with regard to the execution of briefed campaigns. Ensuring consistency of approach and conformity within approved corporate standards allocated budgets and expected time periods.
Driving digital marketing strategy in support of the communication campaigns. Areas of focus include digital strategies, keyword research, search engine marketing (SEM), analyzing web analytics, social media paid marketing, and media monitoring.
Keeps abreast of industry knowledge and best practices and provides campaign reporting and analysis relating to digital messaging campaigns.
Tracks trends and provides findings and suggestions for campaign refinement.
Establish and foster effective working relationships with key local media channels. Capitalise on these to gain maximum exposure for new product launches and build and promote Ooredoo desired corporate image.
Support the creation, management and execution of the strategic marketing plans
Responsible for Communication department budgets, controls and tracking of actual budgets with support of budget executive.
Development of annual media strategy aligned with commercial roadmap.
Undertake research into locations for all outside advertising locations. Ensure that those selected represent the optimum in terms of exposure and potential for creating business.
Extensive media research and planning for Digital media buying.
Maintain data on location, suppliers and terms and incorporates information and messages / themes into the Media Plan.
Work closely with Campaign efficiency Specialists to create and review measurement of the results of advertising campaigns on a regular basis.
Review results of Top of Mind Recall, Aided / Unaided Recall, Preference creation, Conviction creation and Action with in targeted segments and overall in the market
Continuously monitor the advertising market and all media channels in Kuwait / digital channels in the region. Cultivating relationships where appropriate.
Staying well-informed of Ooredoo’s expenditure in the market place and secure cost effective payment and discount terms based on Ooredoo’s spend market share.
Develop the Communication Roadmap for Products / services in coordination with Product marketing division.
Development of detailed project papers as per assignment / task and ensure timely implementation of same.
Carry out any other task that can help in achieving Ooredoo’s strategic business objectives and company position.
Meet quality and performance KPI with supporting documents.
Ensure that upper management is informed on all critical issues pertaining to the area responsible for.
Responsible for developing cost analyses and implementation time-lines.
Provide input for the development of capital and operational budgets, ensuring adequate provision has been made for the funding of all planned activities.
Responsible for and monitor expenditure for effective cost control and justifies variances on a monthly basis.
Preparation of various weekly / monthly reports relating to staff and achievement in the department.
Plans, prioritises and manages activities of staff, ensuring that they support business plan achievement and contribute to the Marketing strategies.
Proactively manage and motivate the team to be highly professional and results oriented.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and EnglishBachelor degree in Mass Communication, Media, Advertising or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute
Qualification in Digital marketingDemonstrated knowledge in the following required :
Strong Analytical skills
Strong Project Management skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
