Monitor materials,work-in-progress, and finished goods inventories to controlworkflow and makes informed decisions regarding production schedulechanges and expedites.
Manage the variousfunctions of HR including compensation and benefits, health andsafety, labour relations, performance appraisals, hiring of salarystaff, and training according to applicable legislation and companypolicies and procedures.
Develop and sustainan effective relationship with Union executives in order to resolvegrievance issues and negotiate the collective agreement in a timelyand effective manner.
Work with theEngineering department to develop objectives and administerfollow-ups for maintenance systems, process engineering, productdevelopment, and environmental concerns in order to ensurecompliance with industry and government standards, the machines areoperating at full capacity, and quality levels are met.
