  • Produces information bytranscribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying,and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
  • Organizes workby reading and routing correspondence; collecting information;initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains departmentschedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel;arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, andtravel.
  • Completes requests by greeting guests / clients, inperson or on the telephone; answering or referringinquiries.
  • Maintains confidence and protects operationsby keeping information confidential.
  • Prepares reports bycollecting information.
  • Maintains office suppliesinventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders forsupplies;
  • verifying receipt of supplies.

  • Keeps equipmentoperational by following manufacturer instructions and establishedprocedures.
  • Secures information by completing databasebackups.
  • Provides historical reference by utilizingfiling and retrieval systems.
