The Dedicated Diagnostic Engineer will work in COE LNG. The Dedicated Diagnostic Engineer is committed to follow the monitored equipment for LNG plants (rotating machinery, electrical equipment and relevant auxiliaries).
Focused on data analysis, will act as customer entry point for troubleshooting and fleet KPI assessment both at site and from remote.
Continuous alignment with project and service engineering teams and vendors will be requested.
He / she will prepare technical reports and suggest improvements to optimize service so that it is aligned with customer expectations.
Theselected candidate will be responsible for :
Actas dedicated diagnostic engineer the selected fleet of LNG, closely trackingand managing technical issues to resolution, coordinating and communicating withcustomer representatives and internal & vendors organization, fulfilling customizedevaluations and optimization studies, and maintaining alignment between siteand iCenters
Dailymonitoring of the selected fleet of LNG composed heavy-duty gas turbines,centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, electric motors, gearboxes and auxiliaries
Analyzedata and alerts generated by BHGE Monitoring & Diagnostic (M&D) systemsand provide insights to prevent asset failures and optimize asset performanceand operation
Troubleshoottechnical issues on monitored fleet and communicate effectively verbally and inwriting
Preparationand review of technical documentation such as trip root cause analyses, anomalynotifications and monthly reports
Actas customer entry point for M&D, discussing technical details of issues andfindings
Manageoperating rhythm and periodic technical reviews with customer
Meetcycle time goals while ensuring quality for M&D deliverables
Beavailable for critical issue resolution on dedicated fleet
Navigateand interprete site-specific control software (e.g. MarkVI / VIe, MicroNet / Plus,RX3i / RX7i, etc.) and engineering documents (e.
g. P&ID, Instrument List,Wiring Diagram) to support technical analyses
UtilizeSystem1 condition monitoring software to perform deep investigation onvibration issues
Validateperformance calculations on monitored equipment, identify nonconformities andprovide insights
sSSupportthe development and deployment of diagnostic systems in terms of hardware,software, data acquisition, analytics and applications
Ensurecompleteness and quality of M&D data for dedicated customer
Proposenew or improved analytics to enhance M&D service and meet customerrequirements
Supporttesting and troubleshooting activities at site; case by case basis for travelto site
Providesupport to other engineering and business functions for data collection andanalysis
Workin cooperation with BHGE Engineering teams, Project Management and VSDS andelectrical BOP vendors to carry out root cause analyses, support customers andexpedite issue resolution
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Sound analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with interpreting engineering documents (P&ID, Instrument List, etc.)
Minimum 5 years of technical experience on rotating machinery
Deep knowledge of BHGE heavy-duty gas turbines
Familiarity with control software and logic (e.g. Mark VI / VIe, MicroNet / Plus)
Knowledge of BHGE products and applications with reference to service environment
English fluency and ability to work in a global environment
Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays, as required
