The Salwa Beach Resort is to become one of the largest resorts in the Middle East. It spreads along a 3.5km pristine beach front on the southwest coast of Qatar.
Managed by Hilton, it will have 362 hotel rooms and residential units with private beaches, a world-class leisure and waterpark, sports club, marina, dive center, health club, spa, restaurants, cinemas and retail space.
The resort is scheduled to open in 2020 and can be found on Google and YouTube under its working title 'Salwa Beach Resort'.
What will I be doing?As Conference and Events Sales Coordinator, you will support sales administration needs for hotel events and work closely with customers to determine their needs and build repeat and expanded business.
The Conference and Event Sales Coordinator will also work closely with the Sales function to contribute to strategy and promotional activities.
Specifically, a Conference and Events Sales Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards : Maximize rooms, groups, conference and events revenue through pro-active selling and commercial management techniquesConvert customer enquiries into confirmed salesContribute to the strategy and planning activities of the Sales functionDevelop future and repeat business, contributing to the profitability of the HotelHandle all customer enquiries with a professional telephone manner and demonstrate high standards of customer serviceDevelop and expand current existing accounts, focusing on achieving repeat business and upselling opportunitiesSeek proactive opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the TeamFocus on a consistently executed up-selling approachBuild strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needsArrange and carry out Hotel show roundsEnsure the complete administration and execution of all planned eventsParticipate in hotel promotional activitiesWhat are we looking for?
