DohaResponsible for implementing the IMS for the company operated vessels.Plan, coordinate, and implement effective QHSE policies, procedures, guidelines and practices, in support ofConduct internal audits and inspections for safe operations for the company management system complianceManage any other QHSE matters in support of the business.
Aid the management in undertaking risk assessments and the implementation of actions identified as required as well as coordinating investigations of accidents / incidents with line management and legislative requirements.
Work closely with management to implement & monitor the Health, Safety and Environmental management systems as per ISO, ISM, and ISPS requirementsPlanning, Coordinating and implementation of site safety, occupational health, environmental, fire prevention, emergency response and security management issuesDevelop and implement safety initiatives to continually improve and achieve health & safety objectives.
Lead / review incident investigations to determine corrective action and root cause analysis.Dealing with vessel’s Flag and Port State authorities on Security issues, STCW documentation and as well as necessary regulatory requests.
Writing and implementing safe working procedures related to day to day job of vessels.Adhering to the Quality Safety Management System requirements & implementing onboard all vessel fleets.
Participates in management review meetings to drive continuous improvement.Any other responsibilities assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTSMinimum 5 years’ experience in marine industry.Candidates with relevant experience in marine industry preferred.
ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 : 2015, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, certified internal auditor.NEBOSH certified.Should be familiar with ISO, ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW requirements.
