Manage and lead the Heavy Lift business unit in terms of operations product placement and strategic direction. Act as a subject matter expert for all lifting related activities.

Prepare annual budget and business plan for Heavy Equipments Business Unit and deliver against itManage Profit and Loss accountResponsible for planning risk assessment and execution of rigging lifting operationsAssure the application of consistent safe and legally compliant lifting practices across operationsDevelop and implement performance standards procedures and technical guidance notesIdentify and implement improvements in the technical quality and content of performance standards and procedural guidance related to heavy lift operationsSupport and improve the quality of planning risk assessment and execution of heavy lift operationsReview and update processes and procedures applicable to heavy lift operations whilst maintaining consistent and legally compliant performance standards and technical guidanceSupport projects in the planning risk assessment and execution of critical lifting operationsSupport proposals in providing specialized technical support input to bidsIdentification and performance monitoring of safety critical elements SCEs applicable to rigging and lifting operationsPerform technical audit of performance standards procedures and SCEsIn collaboration with Specialist HSSEQ perform incident investigation and root cause analysisAct as the client interface by building up professional working relationships with key players in the clients organizationDrive continuous improvement of process efficiency reduction of cost and improved profit through reviewsaction plans and structured frequent performance management for employees suppliers and network partnersEnsure all services provided to internalexternal clients are in line with the companys processes procedures and meet all contractual obligationsProvide recommendations on new subordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activitiesSupervise subordinate staff assign work activities monitor performance and review resultsAct as a coach to subordinates identify their training and career development recommend training courses and followup on their personnel records such as timesheets discipline vacations leaves and absenteeismPerform other jobrelated duties and projects as assigned.
