About the role
As Manager Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, planning, supervision and execution of all marketing and corporate communication activities of QDF.
You will promote and coordinate marketing activities in order to deliver consistent targeted marketing programmers in order to achieve revenue targets.
You will also extract, develop and execute best marketing practices throughout the scope of the campaigns, analyses evaluate all promotional activities, in order to efficiently and effectively deliver all the relevant promotions and activations (internal and external) that will assist the Senior Management and the business in achieving the established sales budgets.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to :
Develops marketing strategy to ensure that it aligns with the HO Marketing (and e-commerce strategies) and to be deployed according to agreed strategies.
Develops a roadmap to drive QDF brand awareness as well as segmented personalized content and offering propositions, through coordination with BI team, across online and offline touch points, for B2B and B2C.
Develops a calendar of marketing plan and innovative campaigns, localized look and feel, segmented, across all touch points for specific target segments for a timely implementation of such activities within the required time frame.
Develop preferential content to target the customers by identifying, through strategic data analysis opportunities, segments, destinations, point of sales, nationalities and travel propose initiatives.
Develops QDF marketing products (giveaways, POSM materials) that can be appropriately used in targeted marketing activations.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills :
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience; OR
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience Essential
Preferred skills and experience :
Experience in managing and executing marketing / event related activities, preferably in retail, with at least 1 year in a management role
Excellent exposure in B2B and B2C marketing activities for at least 2 years will be an advantage
Demonstrated successful track record in creating and executing effective large marketing and advertising campaigns Preferred
Technical knowledge in Print, Production, Web and A / V Media for over 4 years
Understanding of broad marketing concepts
Excellent Project Management skills
Fluency in English to a management presentation level
Able to develop / build relationships and interact effectively with partners at a senior level
Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills, both internally and externally Product knowledge and the market practices of travel retail industry plus
Travel Industry or prior Retail / Brand Management a definite advantage
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
