Position Summary :

Performs research and analysis on processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design.

Consults with customers to clarify and refine requirements. Interprets and translates requirements into functional specifications.

Develops and executes tests to validate system functionality against specifications.

Responsibilities :

  • Translates business requirements into written functional specifications ensuring compliance with current documentation standards and version controls.
  • Leads reviews of technical specifications.

  • Provides primary customer and application support. Develops communication and training materials to augment relevant system activities.
  • Develops ad hoc reports and queries.

  • Develops and executes test plans and scripts to validate that system functionality meets business requirements. Ensures test scripts meet required standards and expected criteria.
  • Documents test results and analyzes test results to determine whether additional system modifications are required. Ensures compliance with standards for testing, approvals, migration and implementation.

  • Analyzes change requests, customer issues and relevant facts to determine estimates, risks and alternative solutions to business partners or process owners to gain approval and relative prioritization.
  • Advises stakeholders and provides support throughout their decision making process.

  • Develops and manages the execution of small to medium projects including schedules, budgets and progress reporting to ensure implementations that are on time, within budget and meet quality objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

  • At least 5 years of experience with Databases Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Expert is RDBMS and DBMS concepts.
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with inter and intra RDBMS data migration and conversion best practices and procedures.
  • This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Doha, Qatar. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.

    S.-based payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Qatar law.

    Employment is subject to the candidate’s ability to satisfy all Qatar labor and immigration formalities.
