Responsiblefor providing hardware and software on-site and remote support, this positionrequires an experienced multi-discipline technologistcapable of working independently and as part of a remote team.
Areasof responsibility include first and second level troubleshooting and problemresolution, end-user support and training, service desk ticket management, end-pointmanagement and deployment, process documentation and basic networktroubleshooting.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES : 1.Serves as thelocal point of contact for technology problem management and resolution. 2.Maintains,actions and tracks service desk tickets in Web Help Desk.
3.Performsin-person and remote troubleshooting as escalates support issues as required. 4.Assists with installation,maintenance, security, operation and administration of IT infrastructure 5.
Performs troubleshooting(Computer / Phone / Printers and other devices) and escalates support issues asrequired. 6.Supports theVectrus standard endpoint software suite (Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365,OneDrive, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams and Vectrus’ ERP and BusinessSystems etc.
7.Installs,configures and deploys computer endpoints 8.Assists with networkadministration and troubleshooting of Cisco Meraki network infrastructure.
9.Trains andguides users in use of equipment, operating systems and applications. 10.Assists with defining requirements, recommending solutionsand implementing desired solutions.
11.Supports analysis, design, testing and implementation ofcritical infrastructure. 12.Performs other duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENTDIRECTLY USED : Personalcomputer, printers, network equipment and electronic test equipment and othergeneral office equipment WORKING ENVIRONMENT : Worksin a general office environment including computer rooms.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES : May,on occasion, install connecting cabling in office environment.
