The role of the Graphic Designer is to create design solutions for a variety of print and online products of the company and for its customers, manage the company’s online properties and social media and other digital channels.
Must constantly stay up to date and apply best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization and site mapping
Creating layouts, brand kits, advertisement designs, campaign design, web designs, user interface designs, user experience designs, infographics, brochures, press kits, inserts and photo editing.
Ensuring art elements of are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinating with any other freelance, contracted and full-time designers, photographers and illustrators as per business requirements.
Collaborating with all divisions to ensure quality content and design delivery.
Coordinating and Planning photo shoots and video shoots with onshore teams in Doha and the region.
Following through with the production process.
Interacting with internal and external stakeholders online to discuss business objectives and requirements, interpreting business needs and developing concepts to suit their purpose;
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
Producing new ideas and concepts.
Design, build, strategize and manage all digital channels of the company.
Keep abreast with latest social media platforms, technologies, market trends and behavior and continually optimise and improve functionalities and user experience to increase direct traffic.
Essential Attributes :
Expert understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital.
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web.
Ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and develop innovative graphical solutions.
Strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process.
Ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.
Adept at with page design software and the internet.
Strong and effective communication and ability to present ideas.
Essential Skills :
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Flash.
Experience with Adobe AfterEffects & video editing (a plus).
Knowledge of HTML, DHTML CSS, ActionScript & Drupal (a plus).
Experience in data analytics, online content marketing, campaign management and digital marketing
