To assist in planning, managing, implementingand evaluating the spectrum of strategic and tactical careerdevelopment services, programs and activities;
strategically, thecareer development officer will help in contributing to thenational career policy and strategy process, while tactically therole entails areas like career guidance, counseling, coaching andtraining. Job Responsibilities :
Assist in preparing direct and various academic and careerguidance, counseling, development, mentoring, coaching and trainingto different stakeholders, namely students, as well asstudent-influencers (such as academic and career counselors,parents, teachers and policy makers), through various set-ups,channels and platforms.
Assist in devising relevant andspecialized career development content and material to be used fordifferent purposes and through various communication channels,including but not restricted to publications, program plans / manualscorrespondences, reports, proposals and presentations.
Participate in due diligences, technical evaluations and contractadministration and implementation related to relevant prospectiveand existing partners and key suppliers.
Assist inproviding multifaceted / multi-level training and development toQCDC’s staff and other stakeholders to enable them toacquire and develop their career guidance and development knowledgeand skills.
Assist in instilling career guidance withinQatar’s national level strategic development process,mainly via influencing national policy making and contributing tostrategy formulation, by means of devising necessary frameworks anddocumentation anchored in the senior specialist’s abilityto conduct adequate research and produce relevantknowledge.
