Selects gauge and type of sheet metal, such as stainlesssteel, steel, or aluminum, or nonmetallic material, such asplastics or fiberglass, according to productspecifications.
Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines onmaterial, using scribes, dividers, squares, and rulersapplying knowledge of shop mathematics andlayout techniques to develop and trace patterns of product orparts.
