We are looking for a talent who can enhance and further develop strong relationships with QR Cargo’s latest and most strategically important customers.

You will be assigned to manage global accounts and will perform your job from our Head Office base in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for achieving target revenue, volume quotients and the delivery of strategic account objectives as prescribed in the customer strategy and account plan across all regions.

The role represents at the most senior level, the entire range of company products and services offered to the assigned customers and is accountable for business retention, as well as business development and customer satisfaction levels on a global scale.

We need you to share your skills and fresh ideas, these include :

  • Define a key- account program and strategy on how to approach top- market players and establish a global framework incentive agreement to grow the business.
  • Map out strategies for each account for prospects and set support targets for each including excess capacity and new routes / products and communicate each month revenue support to each Head Office Corporate Account contact.
  • Prepare a Business and Marketing Plan in order to optimize revenue opportunities and maximize QR Cargo’s presence in the market.
  • Revenue generation to exceed 30% of total network revenue generation from Global Accounts.

  • Maintain regular contact with the key clients, sales calls made by the sales force, establish contacts and maximize QR Cargo’s exposure to the marketplace.
  • Meet main Head Office and Regional Management contracts at least once every 6 months. Meet GSA / Outstation counterparts at least once every 6 months.

  • Manage the Sales and Operations Teams relating to Global Accounts to optimize Cargo revenue production, awareness of requirements and develop / optimize their potentials.
  • Communicate initiatives and progress on each Corporate Accounts Activity and progress and requirements.

  • Establish and regularly evaluate the department or teams’ objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and make appropriate changes if needed, to align with, and support the business.

    About you

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 8 years of relevant experience within the air cargo / freight forwarding industryHands on experience in air cargo sales and marketing
  • Strong existing relationships at a senior level with top air cargo freight forwarder segment within the air cargo related industry
  • Sound understanding of the airline cargo value chain with professional experience in a range of key products as well as thorough knowledge of air cargo industry trends and developments
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, analytical with high- level problem solving and decision- making and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English , other languages are a plus
