Job description / Role

  • Conductspre-operational risk assessments on new sites and determines howrisks could be reduced.
  • Develops all the requireddocumentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE.
  • Conducts accident investigation and completes report.
  • Identifies hazards, and their elimination andminimization where possible.
  • Prepares health and safetystrategies and develops internal policy.
  • Creates andmaintains practical and safe working systems.
  • Consultswith staff on health and safety matters.
  • Responsible forprocurement of personal protective equipment.
  • Conductsin-house training with employees about health and safety issues andrisks.
  • Carries out regular site and accommodationinspections to check if policies and procedures are being properlyimplemented.
  • Responsible for the implementation ofwelfare standards at accommodations with respect to localregulations and company standards
  • Keeps records ofinspections findings and producing reports that suggestimprovements.
  • Keeps records of incidents and accidentsand producing statistics for managers.
