Position Summary :
The Radiation Oncology Therapist is responsible for the safe and accurate planning and delivery of a radiation therapy course as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
The scope of the job function involves treatment preparation, planning and treatment delivery of a radiation prescription.
The Radiation Oncology Therapist is responsible for managing a highly complex radiotherapy caseload, which may include pediatric, palliative, conformal radiotherapy and portal imaging led verification of treatment delivery.
The Radiation Oncology Therapist provides assessment. Support and care to patients undergoing radiation therapy and their families.
Skills : Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION : Minimum 3 years Bachelor’s degree in Radiotherapy or 3 Years Diploma in Radiotherapy.
Minimum : At least 4 years clinical experience in a modern RT department.
LICENSE : Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.
