About Your Job
As a Manager Cargo Processes and Policies Development and Controls, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective and optimal Quality Management system in Qatar Airways Cargo complying with ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management system requirements.
The Manager Cargo Processes and Policies Development and Controls shall initiate integration of all applicable ISO standards, requirements and certification within Cargo and with other QR departments for consistency in approach and organization wide implementation of Quality Management System.
The role is also responsible for developing and implementing effective and relevant policies, holistic Cargo processes that comply with the standards of ISO 9001 : 2015, such are streamlined, efficient and process performance are evaluated to ensure its applicability and effectiveness, and compliant to international standards.
You will make sure that QR Cargo reviews and recommends possible agenda in relevant industry forca eg. IATA, represent QR cargo in IATA conferences and working groups to direct the division in implementing rules and regulations endorsed by IATA.
You will also be responsible to ensure that all Cargo Policies and Procedures are current, accurate, and appropriate to support the divisions strategic goals, quality policy and objectives.
Y ou will need to hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent thereof. You will need to be an expert with a minimum of 8 years of job related experience.
It is essential that you have experience in Policies and Procedures Development and Management and knowledge in business efficiency and effectiveness, and policies and procedures writing skills.
You should be sound in applying change management Technics for the success of policies and procedures implementation.
It will be an added advantage if you have held a managerial role in Processes and Policies Development and Controls in the airline business, preferably in cargo, with experience in policies development and implementations , training and process mapping.
You will need to have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and will need to have excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
You need to be solution oriented believing that for every challenge there is the right solution and the correct deployment of that solution.
