Work with clients and suppliers togenerate accurate volume forecasts. Deliver results for the brand,focusing on net sales and brand contribution to theP&L.
Manage aspects of sales function,from client support of devising and implementing sales strategies,managing promotional activities to achieve brandobjectives
Ensure effective budgetary controlof sales and expenses.
Achieve sell-in and helpachieve sell through sales targets, business planningaccuracy. BusinessDevelopment
Ensure that all tools are exercisedin order to seek, expand and improve the business and productpenetration at retailer
Ensure new brands / lines aresuccessfully launched Operational Marketing(Advertising & Promotion, PR andMerchandising)
Proper budgeting and planning ofA&P and A&P expenses.
Regular monthly / quarterly monitoring.
Media informationgathering and analysis, planning and booking based on companyagreements as requested by Principals.
Propose / implement marketing plans adapted to the region and inaccordance with the brand guidelines
Check goodimplementation of merchandising guidelines and proposes possibleimprovement.
Monitor shelf space and visibilityof brands in selected main retail doors.
Local PR followup, including PR insertions.
Preparepresentations and meet retailers whenever necessary
Liaise smoothly between retailers, principals, and localdistributors for implementation of specific promotions or brandprogramme Inventory Management
Tomaintain adequate inventory of fast sellers and to ensure that slowmovers and dead stocks are depleted and to avoid over stocksituations.
Proper forecasting in conjunctionwith the markets and their needs to maximize sales andcoverage.
Consistently maintain sufficient supplycoverage : checking stocks on a monthly basis and ordering on amonthly basis
Inventory turn ratio remains lower than adefined number of months
Arriving at the end ofthe year with a specific stock day supply.
Processing of orders to be done in less than a specific number ofdays within the department and making sure that the customersreceives the good within a specific amount ofdays.
Making sure that delisted products aredepleted and not in the stock. Market Analysis
Provide consumption based data analysis for the brand. Provideinsight and support to the enterprise to better understand markettrends and dynamics.
Also, identify opportunities in markets wherethere are unmet needs.
Perform a retail auditon monthly basis.
Monitor level of distributionper market Vs Total market (DN).
Gather marketfacts and new developments including new malls / shops openings,change of regulations and key news tocommunicate.
Obtain and communicate rankingdata from key retailers to principals.
Monthly reportingon brands launches and promotions.
Maintain atracksheet of Year End fragrance and cosmeticsfigures.
Monitor retail price database ofsupplier’s vs key competitors.
Analyse competitor activity Reporting
Provide suppliers with monthly sales reporting and figuressynthesis by brand
Gather monthly stockstatements from clients Relationships
