DohaAbout Your JobAs Maintenance Training Supervisor you will be responsible in handling affairs necessary to deliver maintenance training, prepare and assigned maintenance training courses.

You will also provide guidance and counselling for the trainees when required. You will maintain instructor man-hour plan and submit required reports to MMT-147 Ops / STD.

ACCOUNTABILITIES : OperationalYou will : -Designs and prepares training materials and training aids - preparing, promoting and implementing training programs necessary to fulfil identified training needs.

Develop, maintain and update master training materials. Take corrective actions in case of finding a discrepancy or damage to the facilities / equipment / training aids.

Provide required technical guidance for instructors in development of training course. Assign instructors in course development.

Review progress of training material and TNA update processesAllocate aircraft for field visits.Supervise classroom training software update.

Generate and maintain training instructor man-hour utilization reports monthly and distribute reports to training management.

Keep Line Manager updated on all issues related to the training operations and bring to the attention of the Line Manager of any incident involving disciplinary actions for students or Instructors.

Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.Keep MMT - 147 Operations / Standards updated on all issues related to the training operations.

Bring to the attention of the MMT - 147 Operations / Standards of any incident involving disciplinary actions for students or Instructors.

Deputise MMT -147 Operations / Standards in his / her absence.Clarify development and update of Maintenance Training Instructor Level II.

Develop and promote positive working relationships with, and between, instructors, trainees, peers, and management.Management & LeadershipYou Will : -Direct the daily activities of, and work directly with, instructors while continuously developing and mentoring instructors using a continuous improvement mentality.

Provide service to, and enhance, the learning experience of new and current team members.Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.

Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.

Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.To be committed and contribute to the National talent development, by coaching the national developers’, preparing them for a career with boundless potential.

Leading to the program’s continued growth and success.Be responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision.

Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to assure employee safety, security, legislative compliance and delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.

Ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identify training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace.

Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.

About YouTo be successful in this role you must have the following Qualification : Qualifications : EssentialDiploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Degree (B.

Eng., BSc) in Aeronautical Engineering + hold ICAO / QCANEASA License + holds at least 4 Aircraft Training Authorizations on aircraft fleet operated by the companyCompleted the Management training and assigned role specific technical coursesPreferredTraining Management Training.

Previous Experience : EssentialExternal : Minimum of 14 years of job related experience plus management experienceInternal : Minimum 02 years' experience in EN.

02Job Specific Skills : EssentialMust be assessed for leadership skills.Be fully conversant in English language compatible with aircraft maintenance training activity.

Practical and technical knowledge. Knowledge about regulatory requirements for technical training (QCAR / EASA Part 145 / 147 / 66).

Excellent communication skills.Able to work with MS office applications.PreferredCompetent in using the assessment criteria in order to coach.

Competent in giving feedback and managing de-briefing sessions.Have interpersonal skills to handle trainee reactions towards negative feedback.

Have an understanding of cultural issues involved.Have the capability to make trainees feel at ease by being constructive.
