  • Liaison with Logistics sub unitleaders to explore sales leads.
  • Carry outsales activities with a focus on increased revenue and profitmargins.
  • Identify new revenue streams andbusiness opportunities including preparation of
  • business case for capital expenditure.

  • Execute all sales leads, sales enquiries and ensure all targets aremet or exceeded.
  • Respond to all salesenquiries within 24 hours, to client, either domestic orinternational.
  • Partake in weekly meetingswith all Logistics sub unit leaders.
  • UtilizeOracle EBMS for all Freight Forwarding sales activities.
  • Provide weekly update on sales activities to VP -Logistics.
  • Ensure familiarity with allLogistics activities being offered by Milaha and preparepresentations to deliver to potential customers.
  • Ensure the maximum profitability of each new contract inline with agreed service
  • levels and contractualobligations.

  • Be aware of changes in themarket, shippers’ schedules, competitors’activities and
  • general market intelligence.

  • Development and Management of Standard OperatingProcedures.
  • Be aware of market trendsthrough market research and customer client visits.
  • Manage all customer service levels to ensure customersatisfaction.
  • Perform other job-relatedduties as assigned.
  • Follow specifiedsystems, processes and procedures, implemented in the workplace,to
  • ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and otherrequirements / standards.

  • Work safely at alltimes, protecting the health and safety of everyone in theworkplace
