Liaison with Logistics sub unitleaders to explore sales leads.
Carry outsales activities with a focus on increased revenue and profitmargins.
Identify new revenue streams andbusiness opportunities including preparation of
business case for capital expenditure.
Execute all sales leads, sales enquiries and ensure all targets aremet or exceeded.
Respond to all salesenquiries within 24 hours, to client, either domestic orinternational.
Partake in weekly meetingswith all Logistics sub unit leaders.
UtilizeOracle EBMS for all Freight Forwarding sales activities.
Provide weekly update on sales activities to VP -Logistics.
Ensure familiarity with allLogistics activities being offered by Milaha and preparepresentations to deliver to potential customers.
Ensure the maximum profitability of each new contract inline with agreed service
levels and contractualobligations.
Be aware of changes in themarket, shippers’ schedules, competitors’activities and
general market intelligence.
Development and Management of Standard OperatingProcedures.
Be aware of market trendsthrough market research and customer client visits.
Manage all customer service levels to ensure customersatisfaction.
Perform other job-relatedduties as assigned.
Follow specifiedsystems, processes and procedures, implemented in the workplace,to
ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and otherrequirements / standards.
