The Lead Crew Optimization Analyst position is a specialist role designed to develop the QR implementation of the Jeppesen products.
The role has a broad spectrum. This ranges from Rave / Python Development, via business analysis to running advances analysis and optimization tuning on the Jeppesen products.
Key Accountabilities :
Suggest improvements to business solutions based on analysis and provide approaches to track and evaluate the improvements.
Explain the new functionality of the system to the business and wherever required train the business for smooth transition into the new system.
Lead the analysis of the data gathered within the crew resources department and make specifications for the other Rave Modelers for enhanced productivity of the department.
Ensure all specifications given by the Business Analyst is translated into a working program and implemented.
Ensure all documentation for development and customization of the system is created for future reference.
Implement the proposed changes to the system and suggest modifications to the Development and Training Manager and Business Analyst.
Ensure the potential of Jeppesen System is utilized to its maximum so that maximum benefit of the system can be taken.
Defines Rules, Constraints, Parameter sets, and Objective functions in a way to best tune the Jeppesen optimizers
Liaise with Jeppesen in order to resolve issues pertaining to identified bug in the system.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrate abstract reasoning, critical thinking and strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent organizational ability to be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Software development skills (in any programming language)
Experience in presenting and communicating to key business stakeholders and senior management
Ability to foster teamwork among team members
Good understanding of Pairing and or Rostering planning processes
Linux scripting development
Operations Research background
