Role Summary : Perform the daily operations of shop to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops.
Department has a supportive role in knowledge management gathering data and storing them in a system. Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of cell leaders (production supervisors) who oversee hourly employees.
Manage training and operator skills in order to respond to workload needsCollaborate with other functions (i.e. Engineering, Sourcing, Quality) on resolution of nonconformitySupport cell leaders in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resourcesDefine and work following Standard Works & T / TGuarantee Quality, HSE and Compliance standard following Company Culture and internal proceduresSupport continuous improvement roadmap through Lean and Digital developmentSupport HR Team in : recruiting and People management within the production lineSupport organization in Shop Tours and other Customer oriented initiativesManage the relation in the workshop with the customer’s inspector and other functions visitors / auditors / guestsQualifications / Requirements : Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing).
Relevant additional experience in Operation Management.Desired Characteristics : Strong oral and written communication skills.
