Job Description

  • Understanding requirements for each event.
  • Planning event with attention to financial and time constraints.
  • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities.
  • Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.
  • Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize an event.
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day.
  • Conduct pre- and post event evaluations and report on outcomes.
  • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest.
  • Research vendors ( decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost.
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favourable terms.
  • Requirements

  • A proven track record of organizing successful events.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Excellent vendor management skills.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • BS in Event Management or related field.
