Communicate account issues, future business opportunities and product issues to Sales Management via sales meetings, conference calls, monthly reports, etc.
Act as a liaison to customers on new selling initiatives and developing technologies such as Business-to-Business and the Internet.
Perform development plans and sales targets with all team members each month· Recruit high caliber staff and manage their induction and performance effectively· Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client· Determining a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable· Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client's needs· Answer any technical questions the client might have· Present findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client· Understand customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs;
Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes and then documenting them;
Cold-call in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings;· Identify and develop new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls;
Prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently;· Market and promote a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events;
Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software systems and peripherals;· Develop effective sales plans using sales methodology;
providing technical advice to customers on all aspects of the installation and use of software, both before and after the sale;
Advise on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts, such as HR, Finance, Accounting, manufacturing or other specialist areas;
Meet sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targets· Network with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades;
Handel software problems and faults and referring on to specialist technical colleagues· Respond to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature;
