Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain the risk management process, procedures andconfiguration of risk registers and reports;
  • Facilitating the identification, evaluation and control of risksboth through formal workshop interventions and ongoing liaison withall key stakeholders (ie through mini-workshops andone-to-ones);
  • Provide functional support in riskmanagement;
  • Ensure development of infrastructure forrisk management;
  • Ensure that training plans andcalendars are put in place so as to ensure development of projectrisk culture;
  • Communicate the value of riskmanagement and educate the organisation on the risk managementprocess;
  • Participate in multiple areas of the projectto ensure that project groups not only understand what riskmanagement involvesbut also actively participate in theprocess
  • Ensures that adequate training is provided toall risk management team members;
  • Monitor theimplementation and performance of the risk management system;
  • Participate in risk meetings with the EA Risk ManagementTeam;
  • Ensure effectiveness and continual improvementof the risk management system;
  • Supervises the RiskAnalyst
