Your will be working in both a 1 : 1 capacity as well within the class room, with classes of up to 6.
You may be required to Team Teach therefore experience within this would be ideal. You will be expected to adapt and tailor lessons to students with different educational needs and backgrounds.
You will also need to help manage the behaviour of the pupils as well as run breakout sessions when needed. Furthermore, you will liaise with colleagues and peers to receive and deliver instructions and provide feedback.
For your new SEN Teacher role you will be supporting children in both 1 : 1 and small group intervention sessions.
You will be supporting pupils with additional support needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Emotional / Behavioural difficulties.
As SEN Teacher you will have the responsibility of running the classroom including classroom set up, planning of lessons and preparing materials.
