Perform and provide interpretation ofdiagnostic radiologic imaging examinations, and provide diagnosticconsultation related to diagnostic imaging to other members of themedical staff.
Examinations, procedures, and studies performed willinclude the full range of diagnostic work that would be performedby an appropriately credentialed diagnostic radiologist.
Routinestudies such as plain film interpretation, the wide range offluoroscopic examinations and common imaging procedures forchildren, and the interpretation of MRI, CT scans, and ultrasoundare required.
Prepare all records and reportsas may be required in support of services rendered and as requiredby Qatar State Law
Provides clinical servicesas assigned. Responsible for clinical services provided in areaduring assigned time frame, which could include an evening shiftrotation and participation in on call roster.
All scheduling inradiology is established at the direction of the Chief ofRadiology.
Provide advice and opinions insupport of diagnostic interpretations of radiological examinationsand procedures as provided in conjunction with patientcare.
Read STAT and emergency diagnosticimaging studies and provide verbal / written results of criticalvalues to clinical staff as directed by the facilitypolicy.
Develops assists and / or participatesin medical research / academic projects as directed by the Chief ofRadiology.
Is accessible and available toreferring physicians, technologists & clerical staff.Maintains good working relationships with peers, as well as withtechnical and clerical staff.
Provides quality services asdemonstrated by accuracy of diagnoses and compliance with locallegislation and ACR Documentation Standard.
Works cooperativelywith other members of department to ensure that a high standard ofpatient care services is maintained.
