Under the supervision of the Manager Software Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for development of solutions in an Oracle PeopleSoft environment.
This includes but not limited to :
Participate in the analysis, design, evaluation, testing and implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise Solutions (HRMS, FSCM, and Portal)
Assist in day to day technical support for assigned systems.
Contribute to issue resolution by recommending approaches and identifying
Follow documented procedures for configuring, maintaining, upgrading, testing, and coding the application / custom interface routines
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
Highly motivated individual who can work independently and with project teams.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to develop in and troubleshoot using the PeopleTools tool set, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Messaging, Integration Broker and Component Interface.
Ability to develop in and troubleshoot using SQR, Crystal, XML Publisher and PS Query and write and execute SQL
Well-developed organizational and analytical skills are required.
The ability to estimate and track project task timelines is essential.
Experience working on many projects at one time and effectively prioritizing work and managing time.
These skills would normally be acquired through the completion of a degree / diploma in a computer-related program of study, supplemented by considerable recent related work experience.
Experience with Peopletools and Microsoft SQL server is required. Experience with Project Management, Java, .NET and a Higher Education organization is desirable.
