Brief Description

To coordinate with the Health Careunit in developing and executing diabetes prevention and health care programsaimed at encouraging healthy lifestyles in the Qatari community.

Detailed Description

  • Coordinates with the Health Care unit to determine schedule and ensure outreach program requested by every community in Qatar will be well attended .
  • Performs all activities related to Health Care Programs activities needing the Mobile Unit.
  • Ensures that the medical supplies in the medical unit is complete and available at all time
  • Coordinates Care Programs Unit to develop information access aids for community reach out programs.
  • Coordinates with the General Services Coordinator regarding supply and medical supplies required.
  • Assist in promoting services provided by QDA related in diabetes prevention and care.
  • Ensures that program objectives contribute to achieving the overall objectives of QDA.
  • Ensures proper implementation of policies and procedures related to QDA Mobile Unit and recommends proper maintenance for effective delivery of QDA outside services.
  • Prepares periodic reports showing the daily to monthly Mobile Unit activities.
  • Job Requirements

  • 10-year basic education & 3 years of relevant full-time work or educational experience .
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to direct and train volunteers.
  • Knowledge of instructional / training methods and techniques for public health programs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with staff .
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.

    Arabic proficiency is an advantage .

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
