To represent all Logistics’ services &products of the company to potential customers gaining new businessenquiries and converting these into confirmed contracts.Key Roles& Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Logistics sub unit leaders toexplore sales leads
  • Carry out sales activities with a focus onincreased revenue and profit margins.
  • Identify new revenue streamsand business opportunities including preparation of business casefor capital expenditure.
  • Execute all sales leads, sales enquiriesand ensure all targets are met or exceeded.
  • Respond to all salesenquiries within 24 hours, to client, either domestic orinternational.
  • Partake in weekly meetings with all Logistics subunit leaders.
  • Utilize Oracle EBMS for all Freight Forwarding salesactivities.
  • Provide weekly update on sales activities to VP -Logistics
  • Ensure familiarity with all Logistics activities beingoffered by the company and prepare presentations to deliver topotential customers.
  • Ensure the maximum profitability of each newcontract in line with agreed service levels and contractualobligations.
  • Be aware of changes in the market, shippers’schedules, competitors’ activities and general marketintelligence.
  • Development and Management of Standard OperatingProcedures.
  • Be aware of market trends through market research andcustomer client visits.
  • Manage all customer service levels toensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other job-related duties asassigned.
  • Follow specified systems, processes and procedures,implemented in the workplace, to ensure compliance with legal,regulatory, and other requirements / standards
