College Profile :

Established in 1980, the College of Engineering offers degree programs in the fields of Architectural, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial and Systems, Computer Science and Computer Engineering with the primary goal of preparing Qatari engineers with outstanding scientific and technical competencies to enable them to participate and contribute in the various aspects of the country.

Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center (QTTSC) :

QTTSC was established in 2012 as a research entity in the State of Qatar that provides guidance and consultation to improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of transportation and traffic for Qatar with a global presence.

It fulfills the role of the university to advance knowledge and contribute to the needs and aspiration of the society with regards to the field of transportation and traffic safety.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe applicant is expected to (not limited to) :

  • Will be responsible to coordinate the progress of all internal, industrial and national projects. Will follow up with clients and coordinate with involved faculties / technical staff.
  • Furthermore, she / he will be responsible for preparing progress reports. The member will report to the Director of the center.

  • Will be responsible to coordinate and manage all events in the center (training, conferences, workshops, seminars, etc), prepare necessary progress reports.
  • The member will report to the director of the center.

  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, business proposals and other required project correspondence.
  • Willing to learn new skills including software as needed to perform the duties above.
  • Qualifications

    Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree from an internationally recognized university and must demonstrate :

  • Project Management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Work experience in GCC is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English
