Contract : 36 months with possible extension of 12 months
The candidates must meet the following skills :
10 years, preferably, have minimum 3 years’ experience in the gulf region.
BSc degree in QS / Civil Engineering
5 years using estimating software (CATO an advantage)

Roles and Responsibilities :
Making budgetary proposal and rates for the Preliminary Estimates and cost plans.
Preparing cost plans
Preparing detail cost estimates for construction and consultancy services
Maintain cost data base using current market rates, tendered rates and other sources.
Prepare rate analysis for varied work and reviewing rates prepared by others.
Cost reviewing and reporting.
Cost forecasting, analysis and presentation
Advise on the cost proposed by contractors and consultants
Review and comment on the prices submitted by the tenders
Provide support to the commercial teams on changes and new work items
Review the BOQ and reports any deviations and abnormalities
Liaise and communicate with the suppliers and service providers for any items that are either new or to update any items in the cost database
