A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Operations Manager to join our customer, a Facilities Management company in Qatar!
Duties and Responsibilities :
Familiarization with Facility Management and Maintenance way of tendering.
Aware of the required frequency related to each equipment / system.
Must have a strong understanding and knowledge of how to estimate the PPM & CM cost of all MEP systems.
Skilled enough to do value engineering for all the critical systems in terms of sustainability based on OEM's recommendations compared to tender requirements.
Acquire previous performance life history from the critical equipment database with number of breakdowns and type of material replacement.
While preparing the cost, should look on the spare parts replacement frequency prospective in order not to exaggerate the PPM unit rate.
Confident in estimating a Comprehensive bid in the absence of spare parts list and consumables.
To be fully aware about the relative OEMs per system as well as local authorized specialists who shall be deployed under AMC.
Fully adapted and understanding of the methodology of Operation of Central Plants including Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling towers and Main pumps with all associated supplementary.
Managing the operation of running contracts; in terms of controlling cost, assigning the adequate manpower as per proposal submission.
Capable to prepare and submit the proper work orders to any change occur to the contract requirement.
Liaising with Clients for the smooth running of the contracts and attending the monthly progress meetings.
Participate in the preparation and submission of Business and Budget Plans for Board's approval.
Mandatory Requirements :
Have a solid 15 years of experience (at least 10 years in Facility Management Industry)
Have a background in Tender Department
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
