The ideal candidate for Business Development Manager will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.
The candidate should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy for ANH Business Development Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Developing growth strategies and plans
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
Prospect for potential clients to increasing client base and convert them into increased business opportunities
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
Following industry trends locally and internationally.
Drafting and reviewing contracts.
Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements.
Present new products and services to improve existing relationships.
Engage internal and external contacts.
Recognize opportunities for distribution channels, services, and campaigns that will result in sales.
Research and cultivate an accurate perception of the organization’s mission and goals.
Forecast sales objectives and ensure they are fulfilled by the business development team.
Submit and ensure data is accurate on weekly progress reports.
Attend industry functions, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends.
Negotiating with stakeholders and writing business proposals.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from a reputable university
Minimum 8 years of relevant management level experience within Oil & Gas, Energy services and other relevant industry.
Knowledgeable in relevant business products and value proposition within the local and international market.
High-level communication skills
Stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to negotiate
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
Conflict resolution skills
The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
Experience working to and exceeding targets
