Maintaining sufficient inventoryof material supplies and equipment for performance ofduties
Reporting shortage of materials to(supervisor) senior radiographer IR at earliest convenience,maintaining records for ordering and replenishment
Performing all Interventional imagery procedures inaccordance with department policies, procedures and protocols.Applying detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology in order toproduce images of high diagnostic quality
Performing other related radiography (special) proceduresas required
Evaluating and assessingInterventional images produced for acceptable quality,appropriateness and completeness, and advising other staff whenrequired.
Forwards images to Radiologist for review andreporting
Conducting all preparations,administrations of IV contrast agents under the supervision ofsupervisor or physician
Responsible for thesafe and competent use of all radiology equipment, patientappliances and aids used in the department.
Reporting any incidentsand equipment faults or deterioration to senior staff in a timelymanner.
Operating advanced software onspecialist radiological equipment e.g. Bolus tracking, imagereconstructions, quantification and dynamic imaging
