Supervise the day to day runningof ROV activities including overseeing workshop staff and attendingto vessel services to ensure effective support and technicalassistance is provided as needed;
Superviseand ensure timely and quality implementation of maintenance andrepair plans and activities for all ROV and Video equipment as wellas any relevant workshop equipment;
Ensure allROV systems inventory is kept updated, monitor all ROV equipmentand ensure systematic records keeping process is in place so thathistorical data is kept, maintained and analyzed to forecast thefuture ;
Provide technical backup and supportto all offshore ROV operations;
Ensure allsignal requirements for ROV positioning systems are maintainedefficiently and effectively;
Ensure contractcompliance on all operations where appropriate and assumeresponsibility for all relevant survey equipment;
Ensue effective maintenance of own and othersoccupational health and safety and that all relevant policies andmeasures are taken at all times;
Ensure safeoperations to avoid high impact on the environment by means ofcomplying with occupational QHSE standards;
Provide recommendations on hiring new subordinates andensure the availability of all resources required to perform thetasks and activities;
Supervise thesubordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance andreview results;
Act as a coach tosubordinates, identify their training and career development,recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel recordssuch as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves andabsenteeism;
