Conducting Day-to-Day RoomService Operations
Ensures compliance with allRoom Service polices, standards and procedures.
Assists with the handling and service of all room servicehospitality suites and group sales functions.
Supervises daily shift operations.
Helps to manage the delivery of amenity packages and VIPgifts.
Ensures all employees have propersupplies, equipment and uniforms.
SupportingManagement and Coaching of Room Service Team
Provides direction to Room Service employees to sell andservice in-room dining.
Supervises staffinglevels to ensure that guest service, operational needs andfinancial objectives are met.
Sets a positiveexample for guest relations.
Communicatesperformance expectations in accordance with job descriptions foreach position.
Provides feedback toindividuals based on observation of service behaviors.
Handles employee questions and concerns.
Supervises Room Service in the absence of the RoomService Manager.
Participates in the employeeperformance appraisal process, giving feedback asneeded.
Assisting Room Service Financial andBudgeting Goals
Understands the impact ofdepartment s operation on the overall property financialgoals.
Participates in department meetings andcontinually communicates a clear and consistent message regardingthe departmental goals to produce desired results.
Utilizes budgets, operating statements and payrollprogress reports as needed to assist in the financial management ofdepartment.
