Role Summary : This role will be responsible to provide HR generalist support to heads of Divisions (GMs), heads of Departments and employees of assigned Division(s), provide effective and efficient single point of contact to them for all HR related matters. Role Description :
Assist the Senior Manager HR Policies and Rewards in ensuring the Comps & Bens strategy / plans facilitate the hiring of best in class’ talent to enable accomplishment of Group objectives.
Liaise with various levels of management to establish areas of concern to be addressed to assist the Senior Manager HR Policies and Rewardsin developing Comps & Bens strategy and techniques.
Liaise with external consultants to assess adequacy of the current compensation and benefits program.
Assist the Senior Manager HR Policies and Rewards in building and implementing effective compensation & benefits (Comps & Bens ) policies and programs by performing a wide range of Comps & Bens functions.
Assist the Senior Manager HR Policies and Rewards in developing / designing Comps & Bens strategy by liaising with various levels of management to establish areas of concern which may be addressed using compensation management techniques and providing industry practices / market trends to facilitate business planning.
Participate in designing various Comps & Bens programs.
Support the Senior Manager HR Policies and Rewards to implement and manage the Group Incentive Plans such as LTIP, Sales Incentive Plan etc.
Assist in the management and adminstratino of executive and non-executive compensation planning, including the plan for annual salary budget, design and management of compensation planning tools, review and approval of annual salary review roll-
up and out of cycle salary adjustments and compensation offers for senior positions.
Provide inputs in the development of policies and guidelines on banding, job coding and job titling. In doing so, develop and govern guidelines for job benchmarking and standardize QNB jobs to industry benchmark jobs.
Perform tasks related to compensation market analysis and monitoring viz. define type of benchmarking industry, compensation components and market positioning, and provide compensation advice to management on job pricing and packaging employment offer to senior positions.
Coordinate reward & recognition programs by nominating relevant awards and reviewing and approving special recognition programs proposed for special events / assignments.
Coordinate implementation of Comps & Bens programs through effective communication of changes of Comps & Bens policies, roll-
out of incentive plans, annual salary review and education on compensation philosophy.
Manage international assignment through the development of guidelines on assignment / localization package from business perspectives and review and approval of individual assignment / localization packages under the guidance of the HR Leader, Comps & Bens
Ensure all Comps & Bens policies and activities undertaken comply with Qatar Labor Law and other pertinent regulations.
Possess knowledge on behavioral human resource management, application of compensation and benefits techniques, frameworks and methodologies.
Actively participate in meetings which aim to assess performance and serve as means of discussing unresolved grievances or conflicts within the team.
University graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in human resources preferably with a local / Gulf bank entailing responsibilities of compensation and benefit management.
