Liaison with Logistics sub unit leaders to exploresales leads.
Carry out sales activities with a focus on increasedrevenue and profit margins.
Identify new revenue streams andbusiness opportunities including preparation ofbusiness case forcapital expenditure.
Execute all sales leads, sales enquiries andensure all targets are met or exceeded.
Respond to all salesenquiries within 24 hours, to client, either domestic orinternational.
Partake in weekly meetings with all Logistics subunit leaders.
Utilize Oracle EBMS for all Freight Forwarding salesactivities.
Provide weekly update on sales activities to VP -Logistics.
Ensure familiarity with all Logistics activities beingoffered by Milaha and prepare presentations to deliver to potentialcustomers.
Ensure the maximum profitability of each new contractin line with agreed servicelevels and contractual obligations.
Beaware of changes in the market, shippers’ schedules, competitors’activities andgeneral market intelligence.
Development andManagement of Standard Operating Procedures.
Be aware of markettrends through market research and customer client visits.
Manageall customer service levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Follow specifiedsystems, processes and procedures, implemented in the workplace,toensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and otherrequirements / standards.
