Ensuring Client TechnologyNeeds are Met

  • Usescomputers and computer systems (including hardware and software) toprogram, write software, set up functions, enter data, or processinformation.
  • Monitors, verifies and managesthe acquisition and maintenance of property basedsystems.
  • Analyzes information, identifiescurrent and potential problems and proposes solutions.
  • Maintains, inspects and repairs equipment.

  • Inspects and verifies the maintenance of the equipment orthe environment.
  • Verifies that computer andnetwork operations are monitored at the property, backup / recoveryfunctions are performed on scheduled basis and administrationfunctions for hardware, operating and application systems aremaintained and completed on consistent basis.
  • Manages IR activities to ensure the propertyinfrastructure and applications systems are functional at alltimes.
  • Verifies solutions are consistent withthe client’s needs and brand specific IRenvironment.
  • Administers and maintains mailand email.
  • Maintains inventories and managesIT hardware / software.
  • Provides Internetsupport and maintenance (if applicable)
  • Provides cable management support.
  • Generates systems communications for property users tointroduce new applications, provide user tips, alert users ofsystem problems and inform staff of progress or status.
  • Consults on specific application issues orhardware / software problems.
  • Provides feedbackto Lodging IR on application functional performance and systemperformance.
  • ManagingProjects and Policies

  • Uses relevant information and individual judgment todetermine whether events or processes comply with laws,regulations, or standards.
  • Monitors processesand evaluating information according to SOP and LSOPrequirements.
  • Enforces IR policies andstandards protecting company hardware, software and other resourcesat the property.
  • Directs maintenance ofequipment and installed software applications inventory forproperty ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Maintaining Information Systemsand Technology Goals

  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize,organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Performsan assessment of needs, ensuring compliance with brand specificstandards, budget and capital requirements.
  • Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessaryresources to ensure completion of any property projects on scheduleand according to specification.
  • Verifiesproblems are correctly reported, routed, tracked and solved, withthe system user being informed of situation at alltimes.
  • Verifies proper assetmanagement.
  • Performs on-site monitoring of allprojects.
  • Verifies that regular on-goingcommunication is happening in all areas of responsibility to createawareness of business objectives and communicates expectations,recognizes performance and produces desired businessresults.

  • Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, andsubordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or inperson.

  • Analyzes information and evaluatesresults to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Coordinates property efforts, prioritizes needs andcommunicates those needs to IR Shared Services and other systemsstaff.
  • Manages vendors for property ITrequirements functioning as escalation point for problemresolution.
