About the role : :
This position resides within Manpower Planning and is primarily tasked with accurately tracking and forecasting Crew demand against supply.
Supervises key functions including Crew recruitment targets, Crew promotion targets, standby planning, leave allocation and distribution of training duties.
Identify potential improvements to the Crew Manpower Planning system / tools to meet changing business strategies and to improve accuracy of tracking Crew demand and supply
Gather, understand and evaluate requirements from relevant stakeholders across the business for the annual Crew Manpower budget
Participates in regular and adhoc meetings with key stakeholder across the business as a representative of Crew Manpower Planning
Act as subject matter expert for Crew Manpower providing key inputs and / or data analysis to support core business functions and processes.
Supervise the Crew Manpower Team to develop and maintain short, medium and long-term manpower plans to optimize Crew costs and maximize crew efficiency and utilization
Supervise the preparation of the monthly Crew Manpower handover to Rostering and Training Planning
Ensure research and analysis is conducted on a regular basis with an objective of improving productivity and minimizing cost
Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department
About You : : Qualifications :
Qualifications : Essential
Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research
Experience in IT and project management
Previous Experience : Essential
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Previous airline experience
Previous experience in workforce management / establishment planning / manpower planning
Previous experience in strategic planning

Highly developed planning, analytical and problem solving skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills and effective in a multicultural setting
Grasp of commercial impacts and financial management and budgetary work
Excellent English communication (written and spoken) and facilitation / presentation skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced excel modelling skills
Strong attention to details, organization and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure, perform independently and work well with team members
Strong mentoring and coaching skills
Understanding of Crew Resources and Crew supply chain
Understanding of Manpower planning concepts and strategies.
