Role Purpose :
To supervise junior staff. Assist the Chief of the department in executing his policy within the mission, vision and values of Aspetar and the Department of radiology.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES :
Process Development and Review
Interpretation of MSK conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging studies.
Perform MSK ultrasound exams
To perform MSK interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopic, sonographic and CT guidance
Required to respond to medical emergency
Perform all duties assigned to Consultants.
Supervise and perform radiological examination
Compliance :
Implement appropriate protocol, policies and procedures to ensure that all international
And hospital health and safety standards are adhered to, including infection control, safety and quality management.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records in line with the compliance requirements.
Monitor achievement and maintenance of high standard of professional and ethical practice
Operations :
Perform any other duties as directed or assigned by the Medical Director.
Provide consultations services to the other departments, his junior and colleague radiologists.
Provide on-call services.
Education :
Train more junior staff under his supervision.
Participate in health education through orientation and scientific lectures.
Patient Safety.

Necessary knowledge and Experience to be able to do the job :
12-15 years of radiology experience of which a minimum of 4 years should be in a Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Skills and Abilities :
Ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to work independently with initiative and to be adaptive to changes.
Knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures.
Education and Certification requirements :
Doctor of Medicine (MD) certificate
