We have an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team at the Oryx Garden Hotel as a Front Desk Supervisor

The newly opening Oryx Garden Hotel will be located at Hamad International Airport (HIA) and is operated by Dhiafatina Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Qatar Airways Group.

About the Role

As Front Desk Supervisor you will ensures all guests who visit the hotel receive a level of service and hospitality that exceeds their expectations by giving an added value experience through attention to details and continuous customer focus.

You will handle all systems and procedures connected with Front desk such as check-in, check out, cashiering, night reception and auditing functions, luggage handling, hotel and city information, guest etiquette and other allied Front Office tasks and ensuring the standard operating procedures to be accurately followed.

You will be actively involved in providing regular On Job Training on Front Office techniques and coaching the team towards achieving the highest levels of exceptional Guest service and colleagues results through the application of all corporate and property standards and policies.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have :

  • High School certificate , Trade or Vocational qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of job related experience with a reputable hotel.
  • Exposure to multi-cultural environment
  • Good personnel development skills including team building, hands on approach to the daily operation
  • Good communication skills in spoken / written English
  • proficiency in advanced computer applications ( MS office )
  • knowledge in Opera operating system is essential requirements of the job
