The AV Operator is responsible for the operating andmaintaining of the audio-visual equipment of the Park.Setting upand installing equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, videoscreens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment,connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events andfunctions.
Setting up and operating sound equipment.Setting up andoperating spotlights.Coordinating with the Director to establishcues and directions.
Creating and installing custom lightingsystems.Mnitoring sound feeds to ensure quality.Ensuring equipmentis installed according to designated layout.
Testing and resolvingequipment issues.Mixing sound inputs and feeds.Coordinating audiofeeds with television images.Sending in equipment for repairs asneeded.
Switching video input sources from one camera toanother.Determine filming sequences and camera movements.Cleaningaudio and video equipment and store properly.
Ensuring equipment'ssafe transfer and shipment.Compressing and digitizing audio andvideo data.Ensuring the safe storage and integrity of data.
Workingwith computer-controlled lighting systems.Assisting in theperformance of other special duties and projects as needed insupport of operational and organizational goals.
