You will be responsible for the management of the supply of catering services network-wide ensuring control / minimization of meal wastage and identification of savings opportunities.
You will leads, motivate and challenge a network of 100+ suppliers to deliver the Catering Service for QR, QRE and Cargo operations worldwide.
Other job responsibilities include : Building, monitoring and tracking a detailed Service Level Agreement with all suppliers.
Ensures that this is implemented with Procurement and applied with the levy of appropriate service credits as agreed to incentivise performance improvement.
Developing and ensuring the delivery of catering services operational SOPs.Development and implementation of a catering supplier performance award scheme with monthly results reporting.
Performance management of all service providers to ensure that the agreed service is consistently delivered within budget at the highest possible standard at the lowest cost.
Tracking and reporting performance and develops improvement plans and manage the activities of the suppliers such that they deliver the expectations of other Catering Services or Ground Services teams in terms of menu development or compliance.
Operational and LeadershipYou will be responsible for the daily operational aspects of In-flight Service including taking appropriate action during irregular operations, 24 / 7.
You will be first port of call for all station catering issues and will also ensure detailed investigations into non-compliance found by external parties.
You will establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.You will own the Catering Services relationship with Ground Services management outside DOH and works closely with the team to deliver a seamless operation at airports worldwide and to track and reduce Over-catering wastage.
You will be responsible for the set-up of all VIP, Charter and adhoc flight requests.You will regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and make appropriate changes if needed.
You will train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place. You will also be managing their performance and career developmentExperience and QualificationsYou should hold Bachelor Degree qualification with a minimum of 8 years of job related experience.
