About Your Job
In this role, you will be responsible for the development of Interior Design planning and guidelines development for Lounges and for other Customer facing facilities.
The development of Design details for bespoke furniture to be incorporated in department projects and vast knowledge of the best international Luxury Furniture Market.
Responsible to plan, design and propose interior Arrangement of Commercial building of Qatar Airways Group. Duties include consulting / discussing with the User Department to capture architectural requirements, preferences, purpose and functionalities, budget, type of fit out works, synergies and other factors which contribute to planning interior arrangement and ambiance.
Your Main Duties Will Include
Develop Brand image of Corporate interiors by establishing a standard theme consisting of furniture, wall finishes, false ceiling, lighting all blending with each other.
The design shall be applicable in all Corporate facilities customer facing such as but not limited to Lounges.
Develop specification document for Architectural finishes and furniture items in upcoming projects
Develop space utilization matrix by recommending area allocation for various functions within Lounges
Plan, design and supervise major / minor renovation and modelling activities at existing as well as upcoming QR Residential and Commercial properties.
Liaise with Department Heads and representative to determine interior layout requirements
Prepare detailed working drawings, design, plan models and schemes using computer-aided design Revit and 3D visualization software.
Prepare proposal to design work including sketches and quantity estimates for various work items for deriving cost estimates and subsequently approvals
Integrate findings with knowledge of interior design and formulates plan practical aesthetic and conductive for intended purpose complaint of Life Safety Parameters
Coordinate with Business Support teams of outstation Lounges for furniture requirements, review approved layout and support business in FF&E order with pre-selected vendor for furniture and fixtures.
Inspect furniture and fixtures installed in corporate facilities in Doha or Outstations if required and ensure that the installation is compliant with the specification and approved layouts.
Maintain illustrative materials on available products and material selection by the User Departments as well as Management
Perform necessary drafting work for approval new projects or improvement projects within existing properties at various stages like authority submissions, tender drawings, as built drawings in preparation of specification, BOQs
Perform related task such as preparing Power Point Presentation, renders, modifying 3D real-time images to describe as requested by the Management.
In order to be considered for this role, you should have a Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level and a m inimum 7 years relevant experience.
You would possess k nowledge of AUTOCAD, REVIT is a must, Sketchup and Adobe Suite as well as g ood understanding of 3D modelling software and develop visualization works for Lounges interiors.
Experience in s ustainability of Interior Design of Facilities and Office Interiors would be desirable.
