DohaJob PurposeThe Manager Network Control is responsible for managing and evaluating operations of Qatar Airways passenger and freighter flights, to ensure schedule integrity and for providing cost effective disruption management decisions to IOC team.
The successful candidate will identify trends of irregular flight operations and recommend processes improvements to ensure an efficient and effective operation, whilst developing and maintaining an effective compliance framework to ensure all task are completed in accordance with published processes.
AccountabilitiesOperationalEnsure compliance with all applicable business and industry specific regulations, and legislative requirements, as prescribed in the IOC and Flight Operations Manual (Part A)Lead, manage, guide and mentor team of staff to continually monitor and manage the operations of all QR Group flights within the IOC operations window, toEnsure a safe and secure operation.
Provide feasible solutions to deliver brand continuity and protection, while promoting the most advantageous economic outcomeCollaborate and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure safe, secure and efficient operationsAssist in the development and testing of robust Business Continuity Plans to ensure operational disruptions are minimized and managed effectivelyProactively monitor and analyse all available information to preempt and minimize or avoid operational disruptionsMentor, coach, develop and appraise IOC direct reports to maximize their potentialContribute effective strategies for IDPs with IOC Training and provide the training impact for courses delivered.
Deputize for the Senior Manager IOC in his / her absenceUndertake any additional responsibilities as required by IOC ManagementManagement & LeadershipEstablish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Aviation, Management or relevant fields.Pilot or Dispatch License (preferred).Previous Experience : Minimum 8 years relevant experience.
Experience as a manager in airline operations center environment.
