Job Specifications :
The Banquet- Junior Sous Chef is responsible for the overall and efficient operation of Banquet Kitchen of the hotel including meeting guests’ expectation, business volume, colleagues’ management and productivity to achieve the financial success and brand standard.
S / he must personally exhibit comprehensive culinary skills, knowledge, and work ethic whilst leading and training the team.
S / he coordinates menus, purchasing, manning, and food preparation of the section. S / he also adheres to food safety and health standards of the section and ensures team compliance.
Job Qualifications :
The Banquet- Junior Sous Chef is motivated, result driven, and passionate about her / his job. S / he is proactive, vibrant, and desires to delight our guest and colleagues.
S / he possesses strong leadership, communication, organization, and engagement skills. S / he is also flexible, able to work long hours and assist other areas whenever needed.
S / he is required to have a minimum of 2 year’s work experience in the same capacity (preferably in a luxury hotel). Qualification in kitchen production or management will be an advantage.
Good command on English, comprehensive food safety standard, basic financial management and proficient in general computer knowledge (e.
g. Ms Office, recipe maintenance system, purchase request, etc.) is a must.
