One of the largest suppliers of building materials in the state of Qatar is looking for a Group Supply Chain Manager to lead the supply chain department consolidation effort across the group the position shall lead the purchasing inventory Stores and Logistics divisions as one service center across the group Roles Responsibilities Accountabilities Review the current supply chain model and current practices design change framework and drive plans throughout the organization Analyze supply trends in the various companies define measurement metrics and forecast purchasing requirements for each organization Build relationships with suppliers across the industry and partner with the commercial department to define customer needs and fulfill them Collect market data and analyse pricing trends then negotiate rates with suppliers to ensure that the company is receiving competitive rates to elevate its competitive edge in projects Partner with the commercial team to evaluate pricing of products and services to win projects Oversee every function in the supply chain and insure operations are run according to the defined standards Analyze products portfolio and sales trends forecast and maintain inventory requirements Make strategic decisions concerning products portfolio Partner with Commercial department to negotiate Formulate partnerships with international suppliers Evaluate available workforce and competencies and suggest strategies to elevate their talents and optimize operations Design and drive supply chain strategy across the organization and its affiliated entities Lead the function teams to achieve organizational longterm objectives Design supply chain process flows and define accountabilities Stay up to date with supply chain performance KPIs Evaluate the current supply system and design changes that could help streamline and control operations Mentor N1 N2 leadership and ensure that that they are well equipped to support the organizational vision Track customer grievances and design a customer service platform Review the current product return policies and partner with commercial department to reduce risk but implanting controls over the function Partner with human resources to identify strengths weaknesses in the organizational structure and define training and development requirements Skills Excellent Organizational Skills Excellent Negotiator Change Management Skills Process Analysis and automation skills Data Analytics background ECommerce Experience is a plus Excellent Computer Skills Microsoft excel MVP is a Big Plus Integrated solutions experience is a plus Physical Abilities Physically fit Excellent memory Education Bachelor Degree in Economy OR 10 years of sales management experience at an international firm MBA Quality Management Systems Certified ISO API Attended executive sales courses
